Brown haired baby

My hair is now dark.. well as dark as it can be when it was so blonde before! I love it so much, it just looks so much sleeker than before.

If you are in the Kent area and your hair needs some love then I definitely recommend Hair Workshop, honestly the nicest treatments my hair has ever had!!

Detox Time

So I have just got my hands on one of the highly recommended L’Oreal Pure Clay masks!! I have been waiting to try these for soooo long. I chose the Detox Mask as it is supposed to cleanse and clarify your skin and my skin really needed a clean up after a week of wearing makeup and eating wayyy too much bad food.

I am in love with the way that it leaves your skin feeling! So fresh, soft and clean, this is honestly one of the best face masks I have ever used. It’s so easy to apply and smells really good, you can really feel it cleaning your pores and getting rid of all the yucky stuff. I’m looking forward to including it in my skincare routine more often.

I am so happy with this product and I’m desperate to try the others in this collection so watch this space for those!

Start A Revolution: Sustainable Fashion

Hey Everyone!!!

So as you all may be aware of, sustainable fashion is becoming sooo huge. Even big stores like Selfridges are becoming focused on sustainability.

Selfridges Window Display “It’s time to cotton on”

Sustainable fashion is something that is really important to me as the impact it has on the world is so huge.

Fashion is the 3rd most polluting industry in the world.

20% of that pollution is industrial water pollution, mainly coming from dying textiles and pesticide treatments on cotton.

The charity Traid promote sustainable fashion, by turning clothing waste into funds and resources to reduce the dangers that clothing waste creates. Any funds from their stores go towards global projects which improve conditions in working practices throughout the fashion industry.

On the 20th February, Traid are holding a Pop Up event at the Fashion Retail Academy.

You can come down to the Fashion Retail Academy, 15 Gresse Street, London, W1T 1QL (closest tube station is Tottenham Court Road) to help us raise money for this fantastic charity. All donations have been contributed by Traid and the FRA students.

See you all there!

Until next time!

Dress To Impress

Hello again lovelies!

It feels like ages since I last blogged and I have had serious writers block. But last weekend my uncle had a big birthday party so I finally had a reason to dress up and go out so I thought I would write about it for you all!
The theme of the party was ‘Dress to Impress‘ which I loved because it meant I could dress up and look glam. The party was hosted in the beautiful Royal Wells Hotel in Tunbridge Wells which is such a gorgeous venue.

While I’m no pro at make up, I do really enjoy doing it. I wanted to do a pink/purple coloured eye, as my skirt was pink, with a pink lip. I loved the way this turned out!

Just a quick disclaimer! This is not an everyday make up look (most days I wear a lot less) but if you would like to see an everyday look, feel free to comment below!

I started with my eyes. I’ve used different colours from these palettes, OPV Pigmented Eyeshadow, Zoeva Rose Golden and Mac Dusky Rose x9.

For my brows I’ve used my favourite eyebrow pencil, Soap and Glory Brow Archery in shade Brownie Points. This is a dupe for the Anastasia Beverly Hills Brow Definer and considering the S&G product is £11 cheaper, the only difference is that the ABH product is slightly more pigmented.

My lashes are the Eylure style 141. These are one of my favourite styles from Eylure. Over these I just used one of my holy grail products, the Too Faced Better than Sex mascara.

To prime I’ve used the Nyx Shine Killer and my base products consisted of Nars All Day Luminous foundation in shade Fiji, Nars Radiant Creamy Concealer in shade Vanilla, shades Light Sculpt and Banana from the Anastasia Beverly Hills light cream contour kit.

To set my base products I’ve used the Nars bronzer in shade Casino, Nyx Baked Blush in shade Wanderlust and the Urban Decay Naked Illuminated highlight in shade Luminous. Then the Chanel loose setting powder to bake.

I needed a pink lip to match the look so I’ve used the Mac lip liner in shade Spice, Dose of Colours Matt liquid lipstick in shade Truffle and Nyx Butter Gloss in shade Tiramisu.

I feel like whenever I post on social media I am wearing this outfit!! I just love how glam it is!

Bodysuit – Pretty Little Thing

Skirt – Missguided (Now £5!!!)

Shoes – Public Desire

Once again Happy Birthday to my Uncle, Anthony.

All my love.

Holy Grail Products of 2016

Hi guys!!

Happy New Year to you all! As 2017 is just starting, I thought I would show you all my favourite beauty products from 2016 that I hope to continue using into the New Year.

The Body Shop Seaweed range

The Seaweed products from The Body Shop are for combination/oily skin types. I would say my skin gets so so oily at times. So this range has been a blessing to my skin! The Toner and Gel Cleanser have made noticeable differences together to the way my skin looks and feels. I’m just so in love with this range, once again The Body Shop have killed it!

Oil-Control Gel Cream

This is my fave product from the range! I wear this underneath my primer and I find that it really helps to stop excess oil from coming through my make up during the day and making me look shiny. It smells really fresh and makes my skin feel really clean.

Pixi 24K Eye Elixir

This is the first product from Pixi that I have ever got and honestly this little serum is amazing! I get really bad bags under my eyes and my eyes always look tired and puffy but this really refreshes my eyes and gives it a proper wake up feeling. It has gold and collagen in which made it like no other that I have seen on the market.

Stila Colour Correcting Cream

This colour correcting cream from Stila is so insane! This is another product I wear under my make up, I use this as a primer. As soon as I apply it to my bare face, my redness goes down so much and my skin looks so much brighter. In my opinion it does the job so much better than any colour correcting concealers I’ve used. The green colour reduces redness, the peachy colour reduces the appearance of dark circles and spots and then the purple lavender colour removes sallowness so your skin looks less sickly and more bright.

Mark Hill Styling Primer

I love Mark Hill hair products as you may be beginning to notice! I mentioned the Straightening Spray in my November Favourites post, and much like the Straightening Spray I LOVE this Styling Primer! I apply it evenly throughout my towel dried hair and it just protects my hair from getting damaged from the heat of my hairdryer or if you leave it in and let your hair dry naturally it gives it a lovely soft feel.

Sleepy Body Lotion from Lush

The Sleepy body lotion from Lush is one of my faves. The lavender scent really does make me feel sleepy! Weirdly it reminds me of gingerbread too? No idea why but there you go! Normally I can’t stand the smell of lavender but I really love this product and it makes your skin sooooo smooth!

Rose Jam

Lush always blows their competitors out of the water with their shower gels and bath bombs. The Rose Jam shower gel smells so good, words cannot even describe how much I love this. It’s such a rich colour too, which gives it an added feel of luxury! I love the name as well, I just think Rose Jam sounds so cute and it makes me feel so ready for spring to come back around.

Mac Studio Fix Fluid

This foundation is easily my all time favourite and has been for ages! It’s full coverage and never fails to make your face look flawless! Words can’t describe how good this foundation is, every time I run out I re-buy it and I think I always will. I use the shade NC15 and it’s a really good match to my skin tone.

Too Faced Better Than Sex Mascara

This is the mascara of all mascaras. It’s so thick and lasts all day. I’m always so happy with how this looks as my lashes always look fuller and thicker! I’m yet to try a mascara that beats this one, the brush shape and collagen based formula together just make your lashes look INSANE! Too Faced products always look so beautiful and this one just kills it.

That’s everything from me today!

Until next time

5 Ways to Wear Over the Knee Boots

So after my Outfits of the Week blog, I got a lot of love on my outfit where I was wearing my River Island over the knee boots! Soooo this is 5 different ways to wear over the knee boots!

1.  Feathers

Another jacket obsession of mine along side the suede Zara one is this burgundy feather jacket from Monsoon! Majorly in love with this! Here I have just worn it with my white pleated blouse from French Connection and black Jamie jeans from Topshop.

These boots just add something to this beautiful outfit. I think they just look so much sleeker than just wearing little ankle boots or loafers.

2. Jumper Dresses

Jumper dresses are always paired with boots, as sometimes they can be quite short so the boots compliment the length. Here I’m wearing this cable knit jumper dress from Miss Pap! I was given this last year and I am still in love with it, it is so cosy and looks so cute on.

3. Lace and Suede

Once again I’m in my Zara suede jacket!!! This time I’ve paired it with my black lace top from Lipsy and this black and white skirt from Topshop. I love this outfit with these boots because they make your legs look so much longer and slimmer!

4. Casual Camo

This outfit is one of my faves! Over the knee boots like these can sometimes be really hard to dress down as they tend to look smart. Here my camouflage jacket from Topshop and my black New York Yankees cap from JD, have accessorised a plain black outfit to make it as casual as can be!

These jeans are again Jamie’s from Topshop. Jamie’s are such a good fit and they don’t loose their shape as fast as the Joni jean. I’m also wearing last years black ribbed bodysuit from Topshop.

5. Tassels and Chokers

I love ponchos during Winter, they are so cosy and easy to just chuck on! This one is from Accessorize and is the softest thing! I’ve just added a black ribbon choker and my Chanel style bag I brought from a London market. These jeans are the Leigh style from Topshop as I wanted a mid-rise skinny fit for this outfit.

Hope you all enjoyed this post, let me know any thoughts you have on it!

Until next time,

E x
